After suffering for almost a year trying everything i know i finally concluded that Symantec Endpoint protection 11.0 is the source of my pain. i removed it from my PC and i kept working on it (my PC) for 2 months without any anti virus or anti spy ware installed just the windows defender (Vista Business) and believe or not but i didn’t have any problem, my problems just disappeared.
I’m using now the Microsoft ForeFront Client Security we can use it for free in my company ,it takes the same interface of the windows defender and is working perfectly it’s also light and user friendly
so yes i agree FUCK Symantec

Nice to know i’m not the omly one sick of symantec . I uninstalled it last night after suffering low preformance for about 8 months. I now feel like i have a new computer. and yes…..symantec SUCKS big time.

I have used symantec ghost. Instead of writing to the destination disk, it wrote on the source disk (overwriting my data). There were 2 people above me checking that we selected the right source and destination disk. This company, man, totally sucks. They are all mentally retarded there.

Steve, I’ve got to agree with you. I still like Ghost, it’s saved my a life a few times. But as for the latest incarnation of Internet Security goes…..this stinking pile of shit has lost me so much work time (and thus, income) while I run this fix or that fix 20 times a week or more to repair an unstable product that when it falls over, completely stops your system from working in any effective way.

Symantec should be ashamed of itself for bringing out a product in such a shoddy condition. I will be going elsewhere shortly.

Actually he wasn’t reffering to this post to be specific. He had read “Things that should not exist,” but didn’t want to be a public dick. I know because he’s a friend of mine. Don’t take it too seriously.

excluding “boo-friggin’-hoo,” this document is free of spelling errors according to Microsoft Word 2003 with all the latest updates (which to my knowledge don’t address the spell checker anyway, but just incase). Although it’s a Microsoft product…so who knows
